This is one of my favorites. I got this from a friend he brought me the seeds and we started it together. That was last November and mine now is about 8 inches high with a lot of leaves but no flowers yet. The trunk on these gets really thick and sometimes turns into really odd shapes. So far mine is doing great. They store water in the trunk so do not water any more then once a week.
And it most be kept really warm. I window with a lot of sunshine is the best. This plant is know for not needing a lot of care. But the more care you give them the better they will grow and the more flowers you will get.
The older the flower the more valuable they are. Some older plants have sold for over 1000.00 dollars. Maybe someday mine will get that big. The flowers come in red, white, pink and rose.
